Note: my F4SE is the latest available on the website and my F4 is up to date. I have included images of what I believe are the most likely culprits, the F4SE error and Fallout 4 main folder. I'm not sure why but my F4SE is not working either but I don't think that's what is causing it. I'm able to use the quick retrieve function to take things out but I'm unnable to trade with vendors or NPCs or put items in a container without CTD. There are no conflicts to my knowledge and the game otherwise works perfectly fine. But I can't for the life of me figue out which mod is causing it. I know that this is occuring as a result of one of the mods I have installed and not the base game (I tested using a mod purge). Whenever I attempt to open the inventory of any container my game instantly CTD. These are local configuration files and should not be altered in this process.The title basically says what the problem is. Please Note: One or more files may fail to verify, in most cases this is normal. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files.From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.To ensure the game files are installed correctly, you should verify the files in Steam. Suddenly without any change in the game or Nexus, the game was crashing to desktop without any information during saving. Game was modded (> 80 mods), but with fully functional saving system. Delete any options enabled here and click OK. Keep all players settings in save untouched.Check the Run this program as an administrator box and click Apply. Locate the game executable (the application). Select Properties and then the Local Files tab. Under the General tab, click Set launch options. To run the game as an Administrator: Right-click Fallout 4 in your Steam Library.Right-click on Fallout 4 and select Properties.Open Steam and navigate to your Library.Some Steam launch options may cause the game to crash. From there, find the Mod you wish to delete in your Library, select it, and use the Delete option. To delete a Mod, open Fallout 4 and select Mods from the main menu. From there, find the Mod you wish to uninstall in your Library, select it, and use the Disable option. To disable a Mod, open Fallout 4 and select Mods from the main menu. We recommend disabling or removing any installed mods and trying again. Remove ModsĬustom mods can in some cases cause in-game performance issues. To run Steam as an Administrator, find the Steam executable instead (here by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) and follow the same process as above. Once complete, restart Steam and try launching the game again.
